The beautiful surrounds of The Common at West Village will be transformed for an afternoon of delightful music by Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra paired perfectly with wine and cheese.
Camerata Cabaret will take place over two weekends in August with each Saturday offering a different theme of music. The events will take place on Saturday 15 and Saturday 22 August at The Common at West Village – 97 Boundary Street, West End from 3pm to 4pm. Tickets are $100 per four seat table and include: four Tickets (cabaret style seating), individual cheese grazing platters by Say Cheese, bottle of wine or sparkling for the table, and sweet canapes, with vegetarian and gluten free options available with sufficient notice. The program will be: Saturday 15 August – Sparkling Mozart: Grab a glass and a table on the grass! An afternoon of music celebrating the sparkle, humour and enduring beauty of Mozart’s outdoor music, including his famous, ‘A Little Night Music’ (you will definitely know it!). There’ll also be gems by Beethoven and Schubert’s ‘Ave Maria’, as well as Bach’s ‘Air on the G String’.
Saturday 22 August – Cinematic Saturday: Some of the greatest of our era featured in cinematic films, and Camerata will share with you gems from ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’, the ‘James Bond’ Theme and ‘Nobody Does It Better’, from the 70’s Bond hit, ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’. These will be paired with some glorious tangoes from the Argentinian great, Astor Piazzolla and Louis Armstrong’s ‘What A Wonderful World’.

NOTE: In line with Government regulations, tables are limited to four (4) attendees from the same household, family, or close friendship group.
