The Melbourne Cup was screened at a glamorous affair at Bacchus South Bank’s White Luncheon on Tuesday 6 November. Hosted by Channel 7 television presenter Sofie Formica, diners enjoyed a three-course menu created by Head Chef Massimo Speroni. Brisbane-based bespoke jeweller Bejewelled provided sparkles and fashion label White Label Noba showcased designs from its new Spring/Summer collection, with the event raising funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Soleil Pool Bar at Rydges also hosted a Melbourne Cup function in a chic garden party setting.
