West Village has just unveiled its stunning new restaurant, Zazu Dining & Bar, open seven days, 11.30am until late.

This new addition to the precinct boasts a menu featuring the very best of modern European and pan-Asian cuisines including Gillian Hirst’s famous sand crab lasagna. Guests will be able to indulge in an array of classic cocktails and ‘mini’ cocktails each with their own twist and be spoiled for choice with an impressive wine wall featuring over 90 wines from around the globe.

Zazu Dining & Bar has a truly global menu featuring a selection of dishes from Eastern and Western cultures. A lot of love and thought has gone into this menu focused on share plates made with seasonal ingredients hand selected from local producers. Who doesn’t love the sound of bao buns, chicken karaage, fresh carpaccio and rustic eclectic pizzas. The menu has been split up into small plates and larger share plates (designed for two or more people), with banquet menus on the way for those who like to leave the decision-making to the experts.

No stone has been left unturned in designing the space and keeping the good vibes flowing at Zazu Dining & Bar. There’s a mezzanine function space and sunken private dining room for those large group bookings and the whole venue has even been equipped with noise and lighting sensors to control music and lighting levels. There’s plenty of bar seating (indoor and outdoor) and even ‘mini’ cocktails on offer for those who wish to taste every tipple but still be able to drive home.

And we strongly encourage you to try them all, as each one has been expertly crafted and the classics have each been given a twist. We’re already obsessed with the Negroni Cloud, a classic negroni topped with a delightful pineapple foam and sprinkled with crushed chocolate and honeycomb. With an impressive wine wall, featuring over 90 wines from around the globe, Zazu Dining & Bar has your every need covered.

Zazu Dining & Bar makes a fantastic addition to the West Village offerings. With neighbours including Yamas Greek + Drink, Italian Street Kitchen, Cheeky Poke Bar, Harris Farm Markets, Beirut Bazaar and other independent restaurants and eateries, there are plenty of culinary options to choose from.
