Vulture Street’s Miss Bliss Whole Foods has launched its new menu inspired by the Italian Amalfi Coast to warm up for the chilly months ahead.

The winter menu will combine signature dishes with brand new additions, including Head Chef Scarlett Nunn’s favourite spelt beetroot pizza. Scarlett has found that diners are more inclined to want a dishes that are heartier during the winter months. “Since the opening weekend, the crispy skinned salmon has been our most popular, while house-made rawtella vegan French toast has been praised by those with a sweet tooth for its generous serve of Nutella like spread served on a warm gluten-free and vegan sweet bread, ” she said.

But it is not all pizza, the menu roams to other parts of Europe, introducing a vegan feta and a coconut foam with owner Jacqui Toumbas influencing the menu with her Greek roots. “My Greek heritage is something that is always a part of the café’s culture and in West End something that is engrained in the community spirit. The site where the café stands was originally a community fruit and vegetable owned within the Greek community. I love entwining our beginnings through a menu to make it authentically Miss Bliss,” she said.

Miss Bliss is committed to serving seasonal dishes that are wholefood based with plenty of options to suit all dietary requirements. All the dishes are refined sugar free and the restaurant offers a variety of options including vegan, paleo and gluten free.
