Brisbane’s newest music competition is well on its way to finding the next biggest hit, as The Sound Garden kicked of the first round of its inaugural Battle of the Bands competition on Sunday, 6 September.
Round one began The Sound Garden’s eight-week search for Brisbane’s hidden talent, seeing the first five of the total 23 local bands of all genres, sizes, and ages battle it out for the exclusive grand prize. The Battle of the Bands Grand Final will take place on Sunday 25th October 2020 with the winner taking out the grand prize of a $1000 venue voucher courtesy of Fourex Dry, $1000 cash courtesy of Red Bull, and the opportunity to work with one of Brisbane’s top booking agencies.
The Sound Garden is being staged next to Fortitude Music Hall, offering live music, good vibes and great food. Bands featured each week so far have included:
