The Veronicas will headline this year’s Big Gay Day at The Wickham Hotel on Sunday 10 March. Sheldon Riley, Maribelle, DJ Kitty Glitter and The Marion Cranes join the lineup with more than 30 performers at the 19th Big Gay Day, bringing together a host of local and international talent in an effort to raise funds for local LGBTQIA+ organisations.
Last year more than $30,000 was raised for local organisations, proving to be the largest Big Gay Day charitable contribution so far. Building on from last year’s success, the Big Gay Day team have raised the bar, aiming to raise more than $40,000 in 2019, supporting Brisbane Pride, Queensland Aids Councils, ATSAQ, Open Doors Youth Service, Diverse Voices and LGBTI Legal Service.
Iconic and extravagant drag performers will join the lineup, as well as roving entertainment, themed bars and food trucks. The festival main stage will be hosted by Paul Wheeler.
