Written and directed by Mark Williams, co-creator/executive producer of Ozark, Blacklight brings Mark Williams together again with Liam Neeson after their box office success Honest Thief.

Blacklight is a fast-paced edge-of-your-seat film with a powerful performance by Liam Neeson that will provide memorable action-packed cinematic moments. Joining Neeson in the cast is Aidan
Quinn, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Taylor John Smith and Claire van der Boom. Principal photography took place in Melbourne and Canberra, Australia during late 2020.

Mark Williams also serves as producer alongside Alevé Loh under the Zero Gravity Management banner, along with Paul Currie (Hacksaw Ridge) of Australian-based Footloose Productions, The
Solution Entertainment Group’s Myles Nestel (Honest Thief, The November Man) and Sina Studio’s Coco Ma. Long-time collaborator Shelly Johnson A.S.C (Honest Thief, Greyhound, Captain America: The First Avenger) is cinematographer and Mark Vanselow is stunt coordinator and stuntman. Mark has been Liam Neeson’s stunt double for more than 15 years, across 16 films including Taken, The A-Team and Non-Stop.

Main unit production took place entirely in Melbourne, with the city doubling for Washington DC. The high-end, fast-paced film turned the massive Melbourne Convention Centre into the city’s
largest soundstages, using the latest immersive LED screen technology. There was also a spectacular action sequence shot in the CBD of Canberra. Blacklight has been made possible through funding provided by the Australian Government’s Location Offset and Location Incentive program and Film Victoria. Releasing February 10 from Rialto Distribution.
