Local makers are coming to Town Square with the Fish Lane Markets. On Sunday 11 April, Fish Lane Arts Precinct’s Town Square will host the inaugural Fish Lane Markets, featuring an array of independent local makers and designers curated by popular collective The Market Folk.

The Fish Lane Markets will run from 10am to 2pm on both Sunday, April 11 and Sunday, June 6, providing the perfect excuse for extending a Sunday coffee run to Cups on Melbourne or The Paladar, or enjoying a browse pre- or post-lunch at one of many surrounding eateries.

Since its unveiling in late 2020, Town Square has become a lively hub for events, cultural performances and visitors to the precinct. Designed by architects Richards & Spence (The Calile Hotel and precinct, Gasworks Market), Town Square is a leafy oasis under the rail bridge with attractive modern elements punctuated by Kiki, a cafe and bar kiosk, at its heart.

Fish Lane is located directly across Grey Street from the Cultural Centre bus station and is an easy walk from the CBD and South Brisbane train station. Ample paid parking is available at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, and limited street parking in the surrounding streets.
