Southern Cross Soloists took audiences on a beautiful musical journey on 21 July with Maps and Journeys at QPAC. Exploring the theme of navigating by the sky, narration was provided by ABC Classic Presenter and Producer, Lucas Burns. Audiences were mesmerised by the program which included a world premiere Ginan: Songs of Knowledge by John Rotar, written in collaboration with didgeridoo virtuoso and guest artist for this concert, Chris Williams. After the performance audience members were invited to stay and meet with the Southern Cross Soloists and guest artists in the Concert Hall foyer.
