Stones Corner Festival is back for its eighth instalment on 30 April, with a lineup that will have audiences buzzing.

First-time Stones Corner Festival players and the headline act for 2023 is Art vs Science. The Australian trio, made up of Dan Mac, Dan W and Jim Finn, are known for their raucous and outstanding live shows. Following suit will be Resin Dogs who are known for their production of epic mashed-up sounds featuring truly modern hip hop drenched with breakbeat, dancehall, dub, funk and soul! They will be joined by brilliant back-up singers, The Sativa Divas.

Listening up for the best hits of the 70’s and 80’s? You won’t want to miss the Yacht Rock Revival as they play songs from song-writing legends such as Toto, Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers and Boz Scaggs. Head down and say howdy to the Country alt-Rock group that has continuously slayed across Australia’s country music scene, Good Will Remedy. Newcomer and indie-pop artist Jem Cassar-Daley has earned the Indigenous Award at the 2022 Queensland Music Awards and been named New Talent of the year at the 2022 NIMA’s. The daughter of legendary Troy Cassar-Daley, Jem’s captivating performances and song-writing skills can’t be missed.

DUSTY might be a new name in music, but the female lead indie rock band is already showing signs of big things to come, having already had national recognition with plays on both Triple J and Triple J Unearthed. Andy Martin is a singer-songwriter from Cairns that transcends genres, effortlessly blending rock, pop, folk, and indie influences in his songwriting. One of the most loved Stones Corner acts, John Hanley is a local husband and father living with MND. Showcasing the voice that continues to withstand his terminal illness and together with his bandmates, The Hurricanes, this act is not one to miss.

Stones Corner Festival is all about rallying together for a good time but also for a good cause, with the roots of the festival still revolving around raising money for MND and Me Foundation. Funds collected on the day are distributed to Queenslanders living with Motor Neurone Disease, like John, and to support ongoing research so gold coin donations are encouraged.

With free entry, Stones Corner Festival is set to be the ultimate outing on April 30.
