Slice Pizza & Pasta are taking part in  Menulog and Airtasker’s Ultimate Food Task.

The companies are searching for one foodie with an iron stomach to tackle eating challenges in five states. Starting off in Brisbane, with one of Slice Pizza & Pasta’s  36 slice, 60 centimetre pizza, with toppings of their choice.

The Ultimate Food Task has been running over the course of six years, and in that time, only ten people have conquered Slice’s challenge.

Menulog’s Head of Marketing Tasman Page says the challenge was inspired by the company’s ever-growing list of restaurant partners. Menulog is currently partnered with 10,000 restaurants.

With that growth, has come the inclusion of “some really interesting new cuisines and dishes available for order, including these unbelievable food challenges”. Setting out on a mission to find out which challenge was the best in Australia, Menulog opted to partner with Airtasker.

Airtasker CEO Tim Fung described the Ultimate Food Task as Airtasker’s biggest task yet.

“Airtasker has a community of over 1.8 million people, each of them with their own set of unique skills that they’re willing to share with those who need them,” said Tim.

This task will call for a more peculiar set of skills. Following Slice Pizza and Pasta, the tasker will travel across four states in four days.

They will face tasks such as a one kilogram burrito from Sydney’s Burrito Mexican Cantina, a five patty burger from Melbourne’s Misty’s Cantina, a one kilogram schnitzel from Adelaide’s Schnithouse, and a curry super charged with spices from Perth’s Thailicious.

To apply for the task, food lovers need to explain why they are Australia’s Ultimate Food Tasker on the task listed on Airtasker.
