Sensitive Skin Dry Cleaning (or SSDC) has arrived at Brisbane’s elaundry, the first of its kind to be used in Queensland, developed in response to an increasing climate of skin allergies and sensitivities.

SSDC uses Sensene, an inherently biodegradable modified alcohol solution that has low aquatic toxicity and no smell. The result is softer clothes and happy skin, all without compromising the procedures green footprint.

Toni-Maree Bishop, the founder and owner of elaundry, cited her turn to SSDC as a result of growing concern for the wellbeing of her clients.

Toni-Maree noticed a trend characterised by the prioritisation of their personal health and wellbeing, both inside and out, as well as a greater awareness of environmentally safe products.

Elaundry has worked to assure SSDCs positive impact by making the procedure available at an affordable price point. It has also pledged support to its client’s other lifestyle changes, offering a range of environmentally friendly cleaning and beauty products both in store and online.

Elaundry also encourages its customers to choose re-usable laundry bags or tubs to reduce the use of disposable plastic.

Elaundry is a family owned Brisbane business that has been in operation for 18 years. It was initiated in response to the male dominated, factory-minded machinery of laundries. Seeking a more glamorous and sophisticated image, elaundry continues to grow with and instil confidence in its customers.

Elaundry frees its customers from their domestic duties, allowing them more time to themselves without sacrificing their social or environmental consciousness.

Elaundry have already installed Italian Sensene machines which are now available to the public.
