Queensland Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Artistic Director Alondra De La Parra, presented Toys and Puppets on 27 October at the QPAC Concert Hall – a concert for the child in all of us, taking audiences on an orchestral romp breathing new life into toys, dolls and puppets. Hosted by Guy Noble, Toys and Puppets included the delightful Toy Symphony featuring a range of quirky instruments, which includes a homemade trumpet, cuckoo whistle, rattle and nightingale whistle. The fun program also included pieces such as the much-loved theme from the film Toy Story.
