Cultures combine to bring together a multicultural festival for sausage lovers over two days at South Bank in November. EatSouthBank’s Sausage & Beer Fest, hosted by The Charming Squire, will guarantee fun for all ages and pops up on the southern lawn at Little Stanley Street from Saturday 7 November to Sunday 8 November.

From the haggis of Scotland to the salami of Italy, countries around the globe have their own unique varieties of this much-beloved meat and South Bank will be the bucket list stop for self-confessed sausage connoisseurs! Consider yourself a sausage specialist?  This sizzling sausage mecca will feature a range of specially made gourmet artisanal sausages from some of South Bank’s favourite restaurants and bars including The Charming Squire, Tai Tai, Hop & Pickle, Fritzenberger, Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers, Brooklyn Depot, Shysh, Baba Ganouj and Tippler’s Tap.

A huge BBQ with a multicultural twist, lovers of the snag will have the chance to sample a range of worldly flavours from each restaurant and bar’s unique sausage offering including traditional Italian, Lebanese, British, Chinese style sausages and more! Limited to 300 guests per session over two days, the ticketed event will offer up adult tickets ($30) which include a choice of sausage samplers, slaw and chips (or $39 which includes a beer flight) and children’s tickets (12 years and under, $15) which include a sausage, chips and soft drink.

Attendees can also enjoy unique craft beers and ciders from The Charming Squire’s Pop-Up Bar and live music sessions with some of Brisbane’s best local music artists. Continuing the celebration for the month of November, each participating restaurant and bar will offer up their signature snag as a gourmet sausage of the month meal, paired with a craft beer.
